Spa @ Thistle

Eyelids can barely stay open right now but I have to blog about this before I forget the details. Got back from Thistle about an hour and a half ago after my two and a half hour spa session. Oh my gosh. It was amazing . Absolutely amazing. (Hashtag happy child). Made an appointment for 3.30 this afternoon. Reached ten minutes earlier and waited for a while as they set everything up. Was ushered into the seating area and asked to make myself comfortable on one of the plush leather single seat sofas. I literally sunk in when I sat. About 5 minutes later, they bring a big, big bowl of hot water and put in crystals of some sort and 2 slices of lime and my feet were left to soak for about 10 minutes. Was also served a hot cup of ginger tea with the slightest hint of sweetness. Once my feet were rubbed down with those crystals, they were wiped and put into house slippers. And yes they actually put your feet into the slippers for you. All you have to do is sit back and rela

Amazeballs

These past few days after exams have been really, really busy. Yesterday was the best yet, though. The most fun I've had in such a long time. Laughed so much during dinner until I started crying. Not just tearing. I mean actually crying .  On Saturday we decided to check out the Euro Fun Park in town. Ended up waiting 2 hours just to get into the car park area. Left and went to Singgah Selalu for dinner instead. Such a bloody waste of time. Really not worth waiting so long just to get in.   We went out at around 1.30 in the afternoon once I got back from church. Went to KSL first. Had a mani-pedi appointment there at 3pm (No where near as good as Kuku Spa though) and then at around 4 we went to City Square. Walked around. Stuffed ourselves with food and drinks. Shamelessly took pictures. Heh.  To kill time while waiting for the shops at the bazaar to open, we went to Roost. Had the whole place to ourselves for about 2 hours. Successfully convinced the girls to love

Memories Are Made of This

Got back to the apartment at around 5 this evening. The cabbie was really chatty. Has a professional certificate in IT it seems but loves driving so he's thinking of permanently having his own cab to transport people to and from airports. How convenient this has somehow worked out for me coz now whenever I need to get to the airport I have someone reliable to call instead of always having to get help from close friends. Flight back was alright. Was seated next to a girl for a change. Gave L a call as soon as I got back asking if anyone was hungry. By about 6 we were at McD chowing down burgers.  After eating we wanted to head over to the pet shop but since today is Eid it was closed. Didn't want to get back just yet.  Drove to Permas Mall where I found the place for a little something I need to get done at the end of the month after exams. Walked around a bit and (finally) checked out The Sugar Pantry. Very chic Very nice. Sat down there for a while. Still didn

And It's August. Yay.

Really doesn't feel like I'm about to have two weeks of torturous exams to mark the end of my first year of medical school. Being home is always nice but more so now than ever, what with moving house and all. I get to spend so much time with the dogs and daddy and I take them out for their walks every evening without fail. I've been sleeping so soundly since I got back. No need to worry about falling sick coz mom's always around. No need to worry about what I'm gonna eat every day. No need to head out every two or three days to stock up on food stuff. I get to cook whenever I want coz the fridge is always so well stocked. I get to bake anything, anytime I want.  I actually miss home now, whenever I have to head back down south. I miss home a lot . Went back to my music school last Sunday to visit my piano teacher. Memories came flooding back as soon as I started walking up the stairs. It's been years since I went back for a visit. How many hours I u
